The CBI today unveiled a package of measures to ensure Britain’s labour market is best placed to sustain businesses and jobs during the recovery.

The number of people 'teleworking' from home has risen dramatically over the past few years as employers offer more work flexibility.

In the latest CBI / Pertemps Employment Trends Survey, almost half of all employers (46%) said they now offered teleworking to staff, which is a dramatic increase from 14% two years ago and 11% in 2004.
